BLAD means “countries” — and for a lot of us, the answer to “Where are you from?” is complicated.
I’m Lobna, and I started BLAD after I got laid off. I spent months applying to jobs, feeling stuck and unsure what to do next. One day, the idea just came to me — to create something that feels like me. And turns out, I wasn’t alone.
BLAD is for people like us — raised between cultures, languages, and expectations. The ones who always had to pick a side, but never really felt like they fully belonged to just one place.
This brand is my way of saying: you don’t have to choose. You can be all of it.
Our pieces are oversized, cotton, and full of meaning. Some are funny, some are deep — all real.
